Full range stereo passive speaker for modelers and IR’s with Celestion F12-X200 drivers
Celestion designed the F12-X200 speaker for use with guitar amp modelers, cabinet simulators, and impulse responses. The Mission Rangefinder RF-2 is a 2 x 12 stereo bass-reflex cabinet with tuned ports built specifically for this driver and based closely on Celestions reference design.
The Rangefinder RF cabinets provide an extended bass response and flat response up to 20KHz ideal for high SPL environments such as monitoring and backline. Bass response can be further tuned if desired using adjustable length ports in the cabinet.
The Rangefinder RF-2 is made in the USA with premium materials including 100% Baltic birch construction, hand finished corners and salt and pepper grill cloth.
Rangefinder is intended for use with digital modelers such as the Line 6 Helix, Fractal Audio Axe-FX and Kemper Profiler with cabinet simulators turned on, or using an IR.
An external power amplifier is required. The RF-2 is compatible with most tube and solid-state power stages that support a 16 Ohm load, including the Kemper Power Head. This is also an ideal speaker for use with load boxes with cabinet simulators such as the Universal Audio Ox, and the Two Notes Torpedo.
Connection is via one or two 1/4″ or Speakon speaker cables depending on mono or stereo use. Impedance is 16 Ohm mono or 2 x 8 Ohm stereo. Power handling is 400W. Mono or stereo operation is switch selectable.
The Rangefinder RF-2 will be available soon. Make sure to follow us for the latest news and availability dates.
